Senior year was so surreal for me. Being Drum Major is so incredible, and has caused me to grow in my leadership and confidence significantly. Every time I got on my stand, I would get so nervous to mess up and get it all wrong, but I did it, and I never messed up! I am so grateful for my band and the family I am a part of within it. Having the opportunity to represent Wash High's band is an absolute honor, and I wouldn't trade this experience for the world. My final moment with the Wash High Marching Band will be at this year's national memorial day parade in Washington DC. Being this year's Drum Major was incredible, but being a part of the band throughout my school days has been a major blessing. I love my band family and will cherish the memories I made with them forever. Attached are a few pictures of me as Drum Major.
